Portraits are available in standard A4, A3 and A2 sizes. Custom sizes may be available on request.

Clear, high resolution photos taken in natural light are best. The clearer the photo, the better level of detail I can include. It is a good idea to send more than one photo so I can get a good idea of the subject.

Commissions can take between 2 -4 weeks on average. If there is more than one subject, a commission can take a little longer. This will also depend upon the size of the piece and the medium used. Colour pencils require a lot of detail and layering of colour so usually take a little longer.

Yes. I require a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable upon completion before delivery.

Progress updates will be provided, and small adjustments can be discussed where possible during the drawing process.

Yes, completed artworks will be carefully packaged and shipped. Shipping costs will be discussed at the time of booking.
Shipping costs are included for Australian addresses.

Yes, a selection of my work is available as fine art prints. The Gallery Shop is currently under construction and will be open soon.

Yes, commissioned portraits make a meaningful and personal gift. Gift vouchers may also be available on request.

Yes, I can work from multiple reference images to create the best possible composition.

I use professional artist-grade materials including archival drawing paper and Art Spectrum or Mi-Tientes pastel paper.
Graphite pencils are Faber-Castell and Staedtler.
Coloured pencils include Faber-Castell polychromos, Caran D’Ache, and Derwent.
Soft Pastels include both sticks and pencils and include Art Spectrum, Faber-Castell Pitt Pastels, Stabilo CarbOthello, Winsor & Newton, and Rembrandt.
